Office Big Green Egg Europe awarded the Adriaan Dessing prize 2020
The Adriaan Dessing Prize is a bi-anual architecture award for outstanding architecure projects in the Westland area of The Netherlands. We are very proud to be the winner of both the jury prize and the public vote prize . From the jury report: The journey from the modest and inconspicuous exterior of the building to the high-end and timeless interior is a gem in the Westland area. The jury highly values the architectural quality of the project, that has been elaborated from the plan layout to the construction detail. The jury emphasizes that the cooperation between architect and client has lead to the synergy that is required to realize such an outstanding project.
The results of the jury of the Adriaan Dessing Prize 2020, were announced on October 3, 2020 in the Fata Morgana room in Monster by alderman Piet Vreugdenhil of the municipality of Westland. Alderman Wendy Renzen announced the public vote award.
The Jury Prize #
The head office of the Big Green Egg in De Lier was chosen by Team Paul de Vroom + Sputnik from Rotterdam. Alderman Piet Vreugdenhil of the municipality of Westland presented this prize to mr. Henk Bultstra. The prize consisted of a statuette of a hand with a pencil, a cash prize of €1,000 and a certificate.
The audience award #
The public also chose the office of the Big Green Egg in the Lier by Team Paul de Vroom + Sputnik from Rotterdam. Alderman Wendy Renzen of the municipality of Midden Delfland presented this prize to the client mr. Wessel Budding. The prize consisted of a statuette of a hand with a pencil, a cash prize of €500 and a certificate.
